Taren Point Swim School is owned and managed by Bruce Abbott.

Bruce joined TPSS as a swim coach in February 2007, progressed on to manage the facility and eventually purchased the business in September 2008.
Since then, the swim school has gone from strength to strength - upgrades to the facility are numerous and ongoing and additional coaching staff have been employed to cope with extra demand.
Bruce is married, with a young family and lives locally.
Originally a Kiwi (we won't hold that against him) Bruce grew up participating in a variety of water sports :- competitive pool swimming, regional breaststroke champion, water polo (national age group representative) surf life-saving along the rugged west-coast of New Zealand's North Island. Water Polo sport exchange program (1 year in China)
Well known for his easy-going nature and professional attitude, Bruce has great plans for the facility and invites you to dive in at the Taren Point Swim School.
